Huge Employee Appreciation – No Perks for Perks Sake

There is nothing better than Huge Employee Appreciation. During the summer of 2022, five members of the PAL team were taken for a leisurely afternoon excursion to a local swanky restaurant with one of our company directors. It’s not unusual for a company to take its employees out for a treat. Perks like this happen all over the UK. The difference here, was the process of selection of the lucky diners.
There is a growing and strong working culture at PAL Hire. Where the daily work emphasis is centred around client satisfaction and extremely high service levels. Guided by a strong set of core values which guides everything the company does.
The employees were given the task by the company directors to nominate each other when those values are displayed in our working lives. This gave the team opportunity to reward with Huge Employee Appreciation of their colleagues when they do something which has a positive effect on customers, suppliers, and each other.
The selection process was not just about the number of votes. It was based on the quality of the value.
“This made the process fair and justifiable for candidates to have one vote if the value shown was something that positively affected our customers, suppliers and our team in a way that was remarkable.” Sam Snelson company Director.

Except for Hire Desk Controller Jordan, the rest of the team were selected by were selected by their colleagues. Jordan had secured her seat by amazing and consistent improvement in her performance. The company is repeating the directors’ lunch on a quarterly basis.
PAL Hire continues to grow from strength to strength. Moving on from recent times and settling its team for what is looking to be a positive future.
