A skid steer (also called a skid steer loader or skid loader) is a compact engine-powered machine used for lifting. Skid steers come with many attachment options to aid smaller projects that require moving and handling. Skid steers are known to be capable of a zero-radius turn making them extremely manoeuvrable and agile. They are sometimes used in place of larger excavators where either overhead clearance or ground space are tight. They can also be preferred where work requires minimal ground surface damage.

Wheeled or Tracked Skid Steers
